How can I identify emerging trends or insights?

The timeline view is a function of the Biograph Search and Advanced Search modules.

This is a chronological representation of your results, where each result is displayed as a bubble on the timeline based on the date the relationship was first reported in the biomedical landscape.

This view allows users to explore potentially interesting emerging trends and get a bird's-eye view on how research progresses on a specific topic.

Example: Emerging biomarkers for allergic asthma (search link)

The first time that TAC1 was related to allergic asthma as a biomarker in our system was in 2019. The bubble in this case is bigger than others because there is more evidence in the literature supporting this relationship since 2020. By clicking on the bubble, you can explore all the supporting evidence for TAC1 and allergic asthma since 2020.
