How can I identify emerging trends or insights?

The timeline view is a function of the Intelligent Search and Advanced Search modules. It allows users to view relationships on a timeline based on the date of the first publication i.e. when was the first time a relationship was reported in the literature. This view allows users to explore potentially interesting emerging trends and get a bird's-eye view on how research progresses on a specific topic.

Example: Emerging biomarkers for allergic asthma (search link)

The first time that IL-2 was related to allergic asthma as a biomarker in our system was in 2019. The bubble in this case is bigger than others because there is more evidence in the literature supporting this relationship since 2019. By clicking on the bubble, you can explore all the supporting evidence for IL-2 and allergic asthma since 2019.
