The Publication Year Filter

The “Publication Year” filter can be used to explore articles published in a specific year or time period. Users can choose from the following options (Figure 1):

Option 1 - Predefined Selections

There are two options that can be selected:

  • Last 5 years: Publications from the last 5 years
  • Last 10 years: Publications from the last 10 years

By selecting one of the two predefined options, the slider and the boxes below are populated accordingly.

Option 2 - Custom Time Period (Slider Scale)

Alternatively, the user can specify a custom time period, by using the slider scale. When scrolling the slider, the results are automatically updated and the content of the boxes below is automatically populated, accordingly.

Option 3 - Custom Time Period (Year Boxes)

Finally, a custom time period can be specified, by inputting dates into the year boxes below the slider scale. It is not necessary to add a year in both boxes, as a minimum or maximum value can be set only. Click APPLY in order to filter the results.
