What type of questions can be answered in Causaly Copilot?

Copilot can easily address the core research questions, such as:

  • What are the targets for an indication?
  • Which gene mutations affect an indication?
  • Which are the novel targets for an indication that are supported by clinical data?
  • Is a target involved in an indication via a specific pathway?
  • What are the biomarkers of treatment response for an indication in preclinical models?
  • What are the side effects or toxic effects of a drug in a specific cell/tissue/organ?
  • Which organs are affected by inhibiting/upregulating a target?

Outside of the core Causaly questions, Copilot performs best when given simple biomedical questions exploring a causal relationship with or without some context, so that it can automatically represent the results in a knowledge graph.

However, Copilot can also answer non-causal questions, such as:

  • What are the factors leading to regional cerebral blood flow decline?
  • What are the current unmet medical needs for NSCLC?
  • What is the molecular weight of TSPO?
  • Where in the cell is TSPO expressed?
